Taktik Airsoft Rules and Regulations
These airsoft rules must be respected at all times during all Taktik Airsoft games.
1. Individual
- To participate in Taktik Airsoft event at Taktik Simulation, the player must be 18 years of age.
- Or 16 to 17 years of age with parental consent (form is available in Taktik Simulation section).
- Or 12 to 15 years of age with parental legal guardian present.
- An identity card can be asked to prove your legal age at registration. Not having one will result in the dismissal of your registration.
- The purchase or sale of any item (gear, weapon, etc) to minors is strictly forbidden at the event.
- The player has the responsibility to respect the rules and objectives of the event.
- The player has the duty to keep updated via the web or other means of communication for any changes of the event.
- It is the player’s responsibility to give back the borrowed items to those eligible.
- Airsoft is based on Honour and the respect for “calling” if you get hit.
- If a player receives multiple complaints during an event, the player may not be eligible to play in future events.
- Taktik Airsoft are not responsible for theft or loss of any items at the event.
- All players must have identifying name tag on his shoulder our torso that can be identified from the inscription sheet and the release sheet.
2. Team
- Teams must be composed of two players or more.
- Teams must have a common way to communicate verbally or non verbally.
- Teams must have at least one designated player for communication with the command structure.
- Each team will need to have clear identifying markers (Boony VS Cap, Camo VS Jeans, Short sleeve VS Long sleeve). These will decided by the rules of the event.
- Each team will have a designated leader and COC (chain of command).
- Each team is responsible for it’s own objectives.
- Players on a team may not hinder any other players objectives.
3. Field
- The player must pick up his waste and dispose of it in the appropriate place or bring it back with them.
- It is important to respect the field and it is the responsibility of each player to keep it intact for future play.
- Do not damage objects or facilities at the event.
- Players must obey the rules set for each zone on the field.
- Objects from the field can be used in a manner to obtain objectives (defensive) in a none-destructive manner.
- Objects from the field cannot be used as weapons to strike other players.
4. Gear
- Protective ballistic rated glasses or goggles must be worn at all times on the ground and should never be removed in game.
- Glasses or goggles must conform to the standard ballistics rating (Z87). Tests may be required if there is doubt of the strength and protection glasses.
Recommended:
-
- Paintball mask or full face mask.
- Mouth protection (shemag, balaclava, airsoft or paintball mesh).
- Dental protection if player has no facial protection.
- Groin protection (cup).
- Breast protection (vest, two layers of clothing, padded undergarment.
- Ear protection (helmet, complete ear headset, straps or scarf).
- Any type of protective gear may not hinder movement of visibility in any way.
- All players need an orange hunting hat or approved suitable alternate to indicate out of game or injured status.
- Players may not remove or change gear that could confuse the other team.
- For night games all players need a flashlight or a tactical flashlight of under 500 Lumen.
5. Weapons
- The use of none lethal striking or stabbing weapons (rubber knife, night stick, etc) is not allowed and the proprietor can be warned / removed from the game for use of it.
- All weapons must be inspected on the chronograph for approval by the organizer at registration time of the event.
- If a weapon fails to comply with the regulations it is not allowed for the event.
- Barrel plug are mandatory to play at all events. No barrel can result in cancellation of game ticket and refund.
FPS limits are based on 0.2g to 0.46g bb:
- 0.20g 400 FPS is permitted
- 0.25g 358 FPS is permitted
- 0.28g 340 FPS is permitted
- 0.30g 328 FPS is permitted
- 0.32g 317 FPS is permitted
- 0.36g 298 FPS is permitted
- 0.40g 284 FPS is permitted
- 0.43g 274 FPS is permitted
- 0.46g 267 FPS is permitted
- 1.5J
Engagement limits for weapons:
- 0m to 4m call freeze
- 5m and can shoot in single shot
Weapon rate of fire and other limitations:
- Fire 15 rounds per second or less
- Single shoot
- Drum mag are allowed
- Highcaps are allowed
- Midcaps are allowed
- Lowcaps are allowed
- Grenades can only be of non-explosive mechanism (gas, spring, etc) and must be approved by Taktik organizers.
- Grenades must propel bbs as source of ammunition and must be approved by Taktik organizers before the game.
- Smoke grenades are not allowed at any game.
- Claymores or mines device types can only be of non-explosive mechanism (gas, spring, etc) and must be approved by Taktik organizers.
- Any other type of device or weapon must be verified and approved Taktik organizers (mortar, grenade launcher, rocket launcher, etc).
Weapon rate of fire for SPEEDSOFT only:
- Single shoot 45 round per second or less
Absolutely no incendiary or explosive devices can be used. Examples are (and not limited to):

- Homemade grenade with firecracker
- Powder grenade
- Shrapnel device
6. Game
- If player is hit, he is DEAD or injured by the rules of the event and must put up in view his orange hunting hat or barrel plug.
- Definition of a hit: bb must strike a direct hit on any part of a players body.
- Definition of a gun hit: bb strike a direct hit on any gun held by the player and will be considered unguessable until respawn.
Hit or freeze sequence of event:
-
- Calling HIT
- Pointing main weapon upwards
- Putting up for display orange hunting hat or barrel plug on weapon barrel point upwards.
- Player can not move during designated respawn time
- If game permits a player can call for medic
- No verbal or none verbal communication is allowed until player back in game (respawned)
- Team members can drag you to a medic (under the arms or by the vest)
- If a medic is available he can revive the player (local respawn) providing this meets the rules of the game
- Medics can revive them
- Player proceed with local respawn
- If a medic is unavailable or not part of the game wait the designated respawn time
- Player proceed to respawn point
- Walk to respawn point with orange hunting hat or barrel plug on weapon barrel point upwards
- The player who returns to his respawn should do so in order by avoiding combat zones
Respawn sequence of event – Player:

- Once at respawn point player removes hunting hat or barrel plug and conceal it in his gear
- Player wait indicated time by game rules
- Player returns to team or previous location

- Once at respawn point player removes hunting hat or barrel plug and conceal it in his gear
- Player wait indicated time by game rules
- Player must wait for one or all other team member depending on the rules of the event
- Team must returns to previous location, orders or objectives
- The Freeze is allowed (and suggested) within 4m, but may be denied at any time.
- If the player refuses a freeze, be careful and target a protected part of the body excluding the head with the appropriate weapon type and range (see weapon section).
- The player who has accepted the freeze shouts HIT and put up in view his orange hunting hat. He can seek help from a medic and his team after this.
- If the player who has refused to freeze can not blame the other player if there is a situation of “OVERKILL”.
- If in doubt you are unsure of being touched, it is better to caller HIT an avoid being called out or targeted multiple times.
- If you see a player cheating you must confirm it, if possible with an other player, and report it to the organizer of the event as soon as possible (radio communication suggested). Do not engage the other player directly to avoid any unnecessary conflict with the other player.
- Players must listen to their chain of command.
- Players must obey orders from their chain of command.
- Players must be able to communicate with their team and chain of command.
- When aiming, select the main body as preferred target and only target the head when no other body part is available.
- If a player accidentally fires on another player face, the shot is considered fair and good. But if the same player fires into the faces of other players during the event, the player can be penalized for the event.
- If you out or low on ammunition, you’re not dead, but you must go to the respawn indicated by the event or use the content of speed loader only. No bags or containers of bbs on the field… only in respawn indicated by the event
- A player can borrow mags from an other player if he is running out of ammunition.
- If your weapon is no longer working and you have no other weapon on hand you can call HIT and proceed to where you can deposit your weapon and/or fix it.
7. Security
- The preparation zone is a “no-fire zone” and will be considered safe to remove eye and face protection.
- Barrel plugs must be on guns in preparation zone at all times
- Pistols can be in holster in preparation zone with no magazine
- Drugs and alcohol are strictly forbidden on the grounds at all times, that it is before, during and after the game.
- The people caught in the act or in the condition of consume will be banned from the event and future ones also.
- If a player needs special care, because of allergies, health problems or others issues, he must notify the organizer before registration of all procedure and information regarding his situation. (medication, EpiPen, Athsma Pump, etc).
- If a player does not submit his medical problems to the organizer, they can not blame or hold the organizer responsible if any situation occurs.
- After any medical situation, only the Taktik organizer(s) and a players team mates may decide to return the inflicted player to play.
- If a player is seriously injured, the organization will provide rescue and communication tools so that health professionals can come to his rescue. The game may also be terminated.
- If a dispute or altercation occurs, the organization will remove the players from the field for mediation, if any or all refuse they are removed the game and can not play in future events.
- If a player is seriously injured (bleeding, eyes, nose, ears, mouth, teeth, groin, breast) by airsoft fire, they can not retaliate in any way and must call or be called 911 on the field and radio before being evacuated from the field. The game will be pause or end depending on the gravity of the situation.
- Physical or verbal abuse is not any permitted between players and others who are on the grounds. This behavior will result in immediate expulsion of the game and in future events.
- Body searches are not permitted during events.
- Taking a prisoner is not permitted during events.
