My first impression of this gun was pretty good. Nifty packaging, BB’s, unjamming rod, metal rails, fairly impressive at first glance. Taking out for the first time I noted a few frustrations despite it being a pretty wicked machine.

First issue was getting the battery in is a war. Not only is it really tricky to get things to seat correctly but you often have the wires get pinched and trapped. Installing the battery is sure to become an art in itself. Second the front grip is two pieces of plastic meaning too much pressure and the pieces spread down the middle. This kinda worries me but time will tell if the fears are warranted. Lastly there is some slop and wobble in the stock but I guess that’s par for the course on such a stock.

Aside from that the gun feels great, shoots super nice, very accurate and something I wasn’t expecting is the sound of the gun firing is beautiful! The magazine it comes with has a really nice feel to it and it’s very satisfying to snap into the gun. I got some KA mags along with this and they are so freaking light by comparison they don’t have a substantial feel when handling them like the supplied mag does. The gun’s overall weight feels nice but might be too much for smaller players despite the gun being…small!

One last issue is the fire selector doesn’t seem to rotate on axis correctly and while the mag well has a really nice positive snap and release the fire selector has NO snap or positivity. Basically crank it to all the way to get full all the way back for safe, guess in the middle for semi auto. Pretty terrible for a top tier gun.
